Help - Flying into Paris

Hi.

We are flying into Paris by Delta at the end of March (Atlanta-Paris). Our son is flying the next day from San Francisco by AirFrance. We've never been at CDG airport before. Where would be the best place to meet our son. Thanks a lot. Ernie

Can't he hop a cab and meet you at your hotel?

Unless your son is very young (which I doubt since he is flying alone and from a different city), I suggest that you meet him in Paris. First of all CDG is a nightmare of an airport, so finding each other can be quite tricky. Secondly you will have to spend a lot of time, money and energy making your way to the airport and back the day after your long haul from Atlanta.
Arrange to meet your son at your hotel or at a sight such as underneath the Arc de Triomph or the Eiffel Tower.
Easier, cheaper and less stressfull!

As others say, meet at the hotel. Give him the address and have him google and print a map for it. Go to the taxi stand outside the terminal and get a cab from the queue. There is SO much that can go wrong if you try to meet him!!

Take a look at www.parisbytrain.com

He should be able to get to the RER station, purchase a ticket, and find his way by RER/metro to wherever you're staying.
