Help finding triple room in Paris

DH and I need a room in Paris for 4 nights beginning Thursday Nov. 20. DD, 25yo, will be joining us Fri and Sat night. Figure we will need to rent a triple for all 4 nights. Not all hotels have triples and we don't want an uncomfortable cot. Would like to spend <$1000 total.
Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

You really need a double for 4 nights and a single for 2 nights. It will be much easier to find these rooms than a triple and stick to budget. You need to book soon as inexpensive rooms in the center book months ahead. There's lots of threads here on Paris hotel rooms. You can try this one to start.

I've stayed at the Hotel d'Albe St Michel. I know they have triple rooms and it should be within you budget.

Hi S,

We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 131E dbl, about 160E trpl w/bkfst. It is just around the corner from Place St. Sulpice, near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.

Hotel Henri Rive Gauche has a very large triple that my husband and I with our teenage son stayed in for several nights. The hotel is in the 5th, just a block from the Seine and directly across the street from St. Severin.

We had a triple at La Familia several years ago. A little on the small side from what I can remember, but it was adequate and inexpensive.

I'd agree with adrienne and try to book a double for 4 nights plus a single for 2 nights. The price is likely to be similar to the cost of a triple for 4 nights but it opens up the possibility of many more hotels (far more double and single rooms than triple) and it'll give you more privacy plus an extra bathroom.

The Hotel du Lys (great location in the 6th, very near the 5th) has triples. This is not a fancy hotel, but it does have a certain charm, being in a bldg. that dates from the 17th century. It has tv, private baths, some rooms have balconies; breakfast is included in the price, which would be within your budget.

or how about an apartment - you can get some for 4 nights, and they would be comfortable for both group sizes.

We have stayed in a tripe at the Palais Bourbon. It was nice enough in '01, and I think they have updated since then. The best part was that the room was not crowded. We loved the street so much that we went to the Hotel de Varenne across the road on our next trip.

Also for three, we have had a great apartment in the Marais through rentparis.com. This was the apartment at 5 rue Pecquay. Huge, and I think it is about 169 per night. Separate bedroom, huge bath with shower and tub, and a separate laundry room. Loved the location.

This really worked for us because our third person was also only there for three nights, and since he had a separate sleeping area, he blended in pretty well to our ongoing stay.

The Best Western Hotel Left Bank (next door to the famous Le Precope restaurant) has lots of triples. The third bed is like a day bed, sort of built into its own alcove, but has a regular mattress. The rooms are lovely with beams and upholstered walls and large marble bathrooms. It's been a few years, but I think the price may fit your budget -- and the location is also wonderful.

Thanks to all. I checked many suggestions and settled on Hotel Bonaparte. Thanks Ira. (btw, I got so much info from your posts when we visited Italy a few years ago.) DD and I stayed at Hotel d'Albe last year and really liked it, but with DH along think we need a quieter location. Glad the cat is gone from Hotel Bonaparte as I am allergic. Now I just hope the beds are comfortable enough for DH. : )
