Help deciding between two accommodations in Cinque Terre
My daughters, ages 21 and 18, and I are taking a trip to Italy in late May, early June. We have found two choices of places to stay in Cinque Terre that will sleep three and fit our budget.
Usually, we are pretty decisive, but I don't know much about the Cinque Terre cities and would love some advice.
The first is Alla Marina in Riomaggiore. It has a view of the harbor, has wifi, does not have air-conditioning. The second is Il Carugio di Corniglia in, obviously, Corniglia. It is about 30E per night cheaper. Both have received very positive and similar comments on Trip Advisor.
Has anyone stayed in either of these? Even if not, which city would be preferable?
Thank you, Karen

Bob, I appreciate your opinion.
Unfortunately, we are having a hard time finding availability! I sent our at least 15 requests yesterday and these were the only two that had space for us. I have sent out more room requests this evening so I'm hoping to have some more options by tomorrow morning.

Perhaps things have changed since I was there, but as I recall, Corniglia was not all that easy to reach. I thought it charming, and the views were spectacular, but I was glad to be in a place from which it was easier to get to the main trails and trains. (I stayed in Manarola, at La Torretta, and loved it.) Good luck!
