You really didn't provide enough information for meaningful feedback. Likes? Dislikes? Purpose of trip? What are the kids into? Are you going to let your son wander off on his own?

I will say that it is an ambitious schedule and you'll want to take a vacation after that vacation.

Also, don't give beggars money and steer clear of the gypsies.

Not really Eastern Europe, Ukraine is Eastern (in fact the Urals is the limit)

Looks a bit hurried to me

Could you drop Zurich for instance?

Zell am Zee is pleasant enough with the lake below

You'll have seen this http://www.zellamsee-kaprun.com/doku...engl_issuu.pdf which might give a bus link I've taken the free ski bus here in the winter, not sure if there is a summer bus (probably after all what would they do with the bus drivers). I'd search for the summer kaprun website and see what it says

I don't really get the last part, but it looks like the 29th, 30, 31st are all travel days, just riding trains with a few hours in Zurich and a few hours in Tirano, and half a day in Karlshune? What is the point of this, just to ride trains? I don't even know where Karlshune is, did you mean Karlsruhe? In any case, this doesn't seem very interesting to me...wouldn't you be better served by either going someplace in Switzerland (Lucerne, perhaps) and spending some time there?

It is my first time on trains and first time to eastern European destinations.>

great sites: www.seat61.com; www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com.

seems like you will be on trains all the time if I understand you somewhat hard to decipher schedule of trains or at least destinations given.
