Help! Agriturismo location Italy

Jump to last reply

It seems the more research I do the less decisive I become. I started out looking for an agriturismo in the Val 'd Orcia. I am looking for a working farm, no more than 10 rooms, breakfast with an option for dinner, and would like to be able to stay less than a week. I was feeling good about a couple of options I found around Pienza and Montepulciano; however the Pienza location requires a full week. Then, I stumbled across what appears to be a nice option 5km north of Siena.
So, my question to fellow fodorites - Have you had agriturismo experience in the Tuscany area that you can recommend? Cost is a consideration but not necessarily a show stopper. I think all of the places were priced less than 170 euro per night. How do the locations compare around Siena compared to the area further south around Pienza or Montepulciano?
My plan is to day trip around the area regardless.

Thanks!
