Help - Milan Hotel Room Close to Train Station to Acommodate 4 People?
Hello,
Our family of four, 2 adult and 2 kids need a hotel room in Milan for only one night on our way home. I thought this would be an easy reservation but I am having a hard time finding a hotel that will acommodate four people in one room! Can anyone recommend a hotel close to the train station that will accomodate 4?
Thank you so much for any suggestions.
Beth

I stayed at the Hilton Hotel which is about two blocks from Central Train Station. I am not sure if their rooms will accommodate 4 people but because it is a North American style hotel they might. If you do stay there, try a wonderful restaurant about 10 minute walk away called "Thieves Inn".

I did a quick search on Laterooms.com and saw that the Delle Nazioni Milan Tulip Inn has a quad room and is "2 minutes" from the train station. For the particular date I looked at, the rate was 130 Euros per night including breakfast.
Do searches on Laterooms.com and with TravelAxe.com .
If all else fails, you can get two rooms, and have one parent and one kid in each room.

Hi Bethyk. How close do you want to be to the train station? The Accor chain has one of their Novotel hotels about 3km away. Novotel has rooms for 4 - in fact, the kids stay free and their breakfast is free as well. I believe the one in Milan even has A/C, which is always nice! You'll find them at accorhotels.com.
If that works for you, I'm sure the hotel could help you with transportation (bus, cab, subway??) to the train station without much difficulty.
I agree that finding a room for 4 is difficult. When my children were young and accompanied us, it was always a struggle. We'd either stay out of town a bit or get 2 rooms at a cheaper place.
Good luck!
