Hedgehog sculptures in Budapest

A nember of years ago I was staying in Pest recall seeing small, styalized scuptures of hedgehogs hang above many doorways. They seemed to be used to convey "good luck or welcome". Any else recall these cute little guys and know anything about the tradtion?

thanks
