We are scheduled to arrive at LHR at 10:45PM. What are my best options for going to Knightsbridge at that time of night?I believe the last HeathrowExpress leaves at 11:40,would we be cutting it too close to plan on that option? How about a car service, aprox cost? I know we can always take a taxi, what is aprox cost?
Thanks!
Heathrow to Knightsbridge, after 11PM

You may or may not make the last tube. We use www.justairports.com for our airport transfers
The problem is that you won't know yu've cut it too fine till you get to the station and find the last train has left (the last tube leaves at 23.13)
You've then got to get a black cab, which'll cost you about £60, or possibly a bit more that late. Alternatively prebook a car from the company jamikins suggests (or search here for its competitors) and it'll cost you a bit less than half that.
Which, as it happens, is less than 2 Heathrow Express ("never knowingly charged less per mile than any other railway journey in the world") - before the £10 or so a taxi from Paddington to Knightsbridge - would have cost you to.
Thank you! Sounds like a plan to me. Besides, there will be less hassle with the bags by going by private car versus the tube.
