Heathrow hotel most convenient for public transportation

I need a hotel at Heathrow on a Sunday night, for an early Monday flight. We will be taking the tube out to the airport from the City. Does anyone have a favorite hotel that is relatively convenient both for the trip out from the city, and also for the trip to the airport? I have seen references to proximity to different terminals, but I don't know what terminal I'll be flying out of (yet, anyway). It is a Delta flight to Seattle. Any help would be appreciated.

We have stayed at both the Hilton and the Sofitel at LHR. Both are good hotels adjacent to terminals but the dining at Sofitel is far superior and room fee includes breakfast.

I think Delta probably flies out of Terminal 3 at LHR.

And the Holiday Inn Ariel is the closest hotel to Terminal 3 BUT that would be the very least of my considerations. You can always GET to any of the terminals.

All Delta flights use T3 or T4 -- but they are miles apart.

This link tells you which terminal are used for which destinations

It looks like Seattle flights use T-3.

All T-3 hotels are linked to the airport by the for-pay Hotel Hoppa bus (none have shuttles) so none are more convenient than others. But you will want to know which terminal for sure.

IF you are using T-4 there are two hotels actually IN the terminal -- an expensive Hilton and a by-the-hour Yotel.

Meant to say -- because each of the various Hoppa routes serve several hotels, even the 'closest hotel' won't necessarily be the 'closest' time-wise since they would circle around to 2 or 3 other hotels.

The Hilton Terminal 4 is connected by a covered walkway so you get to do some walking but it is at least walkable.

The Hilton Garden Inn is walking distance from Hatton Cross tube station, so you might find that convenient.

Any of the hotels along the Bath Road will work.

As long as you have no more luggage than a rollaboard, the public buses are better than the Hoppa: frequent and *free* within the Heathrow Zone. https://www.londontoolkit.com/lhr/he...ocal_buses.htm
