Hi Art--We stayed at the Hotel France Eiffel in May as park of a city break package from go-today.com. It is an adequate 3 star hotel in the 15a. The positives. the staff tries to please, the breakfast, included with the room was very good with eggs and cereals, it's close to the RER and Bir Hakem metro and is within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The negatives, in the words of the desk clerk the neighborhood is not very good meaning non-existent, no cafes, restaurants or bakeries within 4 blocks. The rooms are small, very basic which was ok, but no personality whatsoever. Overall it was ok for the price we paid but we agreeded that we should have upgraded to a better location in a better neighborhood. Hope this helps.
