Hi Cindy,

Been to a wedding there and stayed overnight.Very atmospheric place with nooks and crannies, turrets and log fires.Very friendly staff. Food and bedrooms variable however so I guess it would depend on the purpose of your stay.

Andrea

Stayed there last September. It is very nice but more hotel than castle. If you stay there be sure to take the "ghost walk" at night. We had an excellent dinner in their pub. I have a more complete description in my travelogue at www.appleberryroad.com if you are interested.

Have a great time. And may I recommend visiting the small village of Cromarty if you have a chance.

jpm

re Tulloch: Ken was most gracious host when we were there. However the "Green Lady" was not so glad to see us and necessitated us sleeping with the lights on all night. We were the only occupants on the third floor for two nights (except for the ghost).Great place, great atmosphere you'll remember your stay there.
