My husband and I are travelling to Italy in August. We are looking for commentaries regarding The Beehive from people who have stayed there. Thanks in advance.

Try the www.lonelyplanet.com 's 'Thorntree'.
That hostel is mentioned quite a bit over there, favorably IIRC. Regards, Walter

Have stayed at the Beehive on several occasions. Tidy, nice people and good location. Believe their price is fixed, per person year round. If traveling with several people in the winter offseason months, you can sometimes do better at a fancier lodging.
