Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio vs Blenheim Palace?
We're planning a trip to England, with a kid of 10 years old.
After reviewing my current itneary, seems like we need to make a choice on either one of the above spots.
Any advice on selection of either the Harry Potter Studio in Leavesden or Blenheim Palace near Oxford?

Like comparing chalk and cheese. Your kid will doubtless be bored stiff by Blenheim (there's just little there of interest to young children) but will love the Harry Potter studios. If that's an important consideration, it's a no-brainer - go for the latter.

Chalk and cheese are both good sources of calcium, so they've got a lot more in common than Blenheim and Harry Potter.
Not every child in necessarily a Harry Potter fan, and not all grownups are necessarily repelled by Blenheim's tastelessness. There's nothing but Watford near the Leavesden studio complex (which is tantamount to nothing), whereas Woodstock and Oxford offer a lot of other things (including Potter sites) to include in a day out to Blenheim.
It's worth checking the Blenheim site for its occasional family-oriented days: there are a few biking and jousting days this summer, as well as a lot of child-centric stuff throughout July and August. Otherwise, though, Blenheim might have to be the bit the 10 yo puts up with (if it's the kind of thing his parents like) for the other stuff around Oxfordshire.

Blenheim was once described as the only non-royal palace in Britain.
Its detractors were once described as jealous.
If your kid likes Harry Potter then skip the palace and its detractors who all fantasize about being Harry Potter anyway.

That is like asking Disneyland or the awhile House. No way to compare the two and w/o knowing your child how could we know which would be better.
But there are other considerations like where will you be visiting from? Blenheim is not just a quick jaunt from London. Are you going to be staying in/ near Oxford? Plus what other amazing sites are you leaving out? For instance, are you going to Hampton Court Palace (better and easier from central London than either one).
As it is, w/o more details your question is impossible to answer.

We took our son to Blenheim Palace when he was 8 years old. He wasn't wild about the guided tour, but he certainly appreciated the history of the house. (He was a history fan even then.) Thank you so much for all your advice.
We'll be driving from the north after 2.5 days in Lake District and will travel around in the Cotswold area.
We'll stay in Oxford for one night and stay in Cheltenham and Bath afterwards.
For my girl and myself, we are interested in both Harry Potter and Winston Churchill.
Hope this can give a better context for the question
