half day in Naples - Is it worth it?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are spending 2 weeks in Italy. Part of the trip is driving from Sorrento/naples to Chieti (to visit relatives). I am debating whether to take ferry from Sorrento (spending four days ) to Naples, stowing luggage, touring for half day, picking up rental car and driving for 2 1/2 hours to Pescara. My 2 questions are 1. Should i bother or just rent car in sorrento and go or 2. tour Naples, but where to stow luggage. Car rentals at ferry or train station. Where are the most sights to see in Naples closer to? This is the only part of our trip that we are renting a car.
Any Suggestions ?
