Gummy Bear Stores in Southern Germany and Northern Austria?
Hi!
My wife and I will be travelling to Germany and Austria in September, and my wife wants to make sure that we stop at one of the “gummy bear” stores. I have been searching online, but I am having trouble finding gummy bear/gummy snack stores in Southern Germany and Northern Austria. There are tons in Northern Germany, but we will not be travelling in that region. I have searched Haribo, Baren-Treff, and Bärenland. We will be in Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, and driving a car in between. Any suggestions would be much appreciated because my wife really wants to stop at one of the gummy stores! I found one in Vienna, but it looks like it may be closed for renovation in “Millennium City", which also looks like it is out of the way from downtown and difficult to find once I get there.
Thanks again for any help!

Southern Germany is "Bear & Friends" country
You'll find a list of stores here:
http://www.bears-friends.de/shops.php
Below each location you will see a red arrow and the German phrase "Zum Standortplan". That link will make a Google map pop up with the location.

I think "Bears and Friends " are mostly franchise stores and small.
In Linz Austria you find the usual Haribo Shop
Industrieziele 68
This between Salzburg and Vienna.
or look here
www.haribo.com
Many other stores here( from supermarkets to autobahn rest stops ) have a relatively large selection of Haribo products too. -

Take a look at this map. They're everywhere.
I can't say which gummi bear is better, I only know Haribo because I found them on my pillow in a hotel and I kept the package, it just struck me as such an unusual thing. It turns out, it's not.

I didn't mean to suggust that haribo gummis aren't also good.
I always stop at the Edeka grocery store at the Munich airport and stock up on assortment of haribo candies. You'll find a wide range of Haribo candies. My favorites are the weinland gummis which have the names of various German wine regions and Color-Rado which is a mixed bag of candies.
Security note: you can take the gummis in your carry-on bags. Mustard on the other hand will be taken from you at security.

if you'll be visiting Frankfurt am Main, you could easily find http://www.baeren-treff.de/ right by Hauptwache subway stop. http://maps.google.de/maps/place?cid...Ic-msgb9sZ2DDg

Great! Thank you for all of the suggestions. She loves Haribo, so we'll probably stop at the store in Linz and also have lunch in the area. Do you have any suggestions where to have a reasonably priced good meal in Linz, close top the Haribo store? Thanks again for all of your help!
