It's not exactly a bargain, but we're celebrating our anniversary and are booked to do this. We've toured in the summer, but look forward to having the small group and imagine Buckingham Palace to take on more of "magical glow" at night. We can't wait! Missy

I know, Patrick. I wasn't for it. Hubby wanted to splurge. Otherwise, it's a budget trip of fave London walks, free musuems and pubs. We're not seeing any shows this trip and it's cheaper than that. So, to each their own. We'll enjoy it. Still, I agree with you on the price! Missy

hehe....maybe she'll show up? NOT! Seriously, we've spent much more than that seeing several shows in London on trips. You could drop more than that on some Evan Evans tours, too, and darn near that much on afternoon tea. I'll be sure to not wear white tennis shoes. hehe Missy

I'm reviving an old thread to ask if anyone has taken the "private" evening tour of Buckingham Palace and, if so, what you thought of it. The tours are being offered this year (2012), and I'm considering doing one in September.
By the way, at the current exchange rate, the cost is about $100, not the $130 mentioned above (still pricy, just not as pricy).
