GTG - Pvt Car/Boat Trip from Livorno to Cinque Terre May 19, 2012

Jump to last reply

(I potsed a similar topic last week, but I mis-spelled Cinque with a 'g' instead if 'q'... I noticed tht it was not coming up in searches for Cinque Terre, so I am re-postig ths with correct spelling and a few updates.)

A few of us would love to experience the landscape of Cinque Terre, I am told that the best vantage point is from the water on a small boat. (Also, due to some mobility issues, a land tour would be difficult to navigate, give the terrain in this area). I found an option to put together a 9 hour private car + boat tour. There are currently 4 in our party. .This tour can hold up to 10 people - the price, of course, goes down as the number of guests increases. This is what we have in mind:

Beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 19, we would meet our private car at the Livorno port. The car will drive to La Spezia, where we will transfer to a private boat with a local tour guide. The boat will head up the coast on a leisurely, picturesque trip, passing all 5 of the ancient walled cities of Cinque Terre (possibly as far north as Camogli), where it will turn around and head back. On the return leg, we would stop in a town that is relatively easy to navigate on foot, for a short tour, followed by 2 hours of free time to explore the city and perhaps catch a snack or lunch (Possibly, the stop could be in Monterosso - the largest of the 5 cities). After this, we would head back to the Livorno port, making a short (20 minute) "photo op" stop at the leaning tour in Pisa.

(We would also be open to making some modifications to this itinerary).

If you have any interest in joining this tour, please email me - bevmatucci@earthlink.net Thanks.
