Grobglockner and Dolomites from Salzburg

Jump to last reply

I had earlier posted my proposed itinerary in an earlier thread.

After Salzburg, we were planning to spend some time around Innsbruck area - we were recommended a trip to the Dolomites. I had also been interested in the drive up Grobglockner.

The proposed plan is :
- Drive from Salzburg to Grobglockner and then to Valdaora in Italy for the night. The total drive time in 4:30-5:00 hours according to Google maps but we are keeping the entire day for this.
- The next day, drive from Valdaora via Val Gardena and then to Innsbruck. Stay in one of the towns outside Innsbruck.

Any comments / suggestions?
