I am in the process of booking my trip to Athens, Mykonos & Santorini. I came across Dolphin Hellas & Accomodations Direct (travel agencies) on Matt Barrets & Harry's Greek Guide. Also came across greekflights.com offering chartered flights to Greece somewhat cheaper than what I have gotten from a travel agency. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with any of these. Are they legit? Or do you have any recommendations on any travel agencies that I can use?

I used Dolphin Hellas for my Sept. 2000 trip to Greece and I was very pleased with them. We visited Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. I worked with Uli, at Dolphin Hellas and she booked our inter-island flights(I reccomend flying rather than the ferries) as well as our hotels. She was very professional and responded to all of my e-mails promptly. We had a great trip, everything went smoothly, and I will use Dolphin Hellas the next time I travel to Greece. The prices they quoted me for hotels were slightly higher than Dilos'web site. After I pointed this out they matched their rates.
I used Dolphin Hellas in 1999 and would use them again. They did take a week or so to return emails to me, but I was pleased with the overall service. I went to their office in Athens at the end of my trip to meet them. Nice people.
OK, I am currently working with a travel agent at Dolphin Hellas. I have gotten everything confirmed by email including hotels and airfare, but I did not have anything charged to my credit card yet. She has a copy of my credit card, and said she would charge it about two weeks ago, but nothing yet.
Should I be worried?

We have used Dilos, twice, for cars and hotel reservations. They were very reliable on both occasions. I think they also do air travel, but am not sure. www.dilos.com
I too am working with Uli at Dolphin and she has been most responsive. I am very happy she is taking care of the inter-island flights for me.
