Greece or Spain in late November - December with a baby

My husband and baby, 8 months old, are choosing between a trip in Spain vs. Greece for 3-4 weeks mid November - mid December. We haven't been to either. We anticipate spending at least a few days in each place within one of these countries. We were hoping for decent weather (swimming would be amazing) and are not sure what to expect. Are they comparable in terms of cost as well? Also, advice on traveling with a baby is always appreciated.
