Greece or Spain in late November - December with a baby
My husband and baby, 8 months old, are choosing between a trip in Spain vs. Greece for 3-4 weeks mid November - mid December. We haven't been to either. We anticipate spending at least a few days in each place within one of these countries. We were hoping for decent weather (swimming would be amazing) and are not sure what to expect. Are they comparable in terms of cost as well? Also, advice on traveling with a baby is always appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Spain is enormous and Greece covers a lot of terrain, too -- you may need to be a bit more explicit about which regions you are considering and what your interests are.
All else being equal, Greece is likely to be less expensive than Spain, but there is enormous variation, and again, it depends on where, exactly, you would visit.

I wouldn't count on beach weather. Even if it's warm you'll have a good chance of rain.
Prices are similar IMHO. Both countries have a range of locations. They can be fairly cheap or they can be fairly expensive. Your big plus is it'll be deep off season. OTOH if you're expecting to go to the islands or any of the touristy summer places don't be surprised if they're more or less closed down.
All that means is stick to the cities.
With four weeks I think you're better off with Spain. Barcelona,Madrid,Seville,Granada and Valencia already take up a chunk of your stay. Maybe tack on some shorter day trips

Four weeks is actually a lot of time. Late November-December is not beach weather time in Europe. Weather can be however pleasant in places I have visited during that time which include Crete, Majorca and Andalucia. Small touristy islands likely to be dead at that time. Costs can vary a lot. Consider renting an apartment or Condo for a week in three different locations with a car for day trips?

Who knows what the weather will be like in November and December? I've heard of people swimming in the southern Peloponnese in Greece that time of year when the weather is exceptionally warm, but you can't count on it.
The Canary Islands belong to Spain, but are geographically located in the Atlantic off the coast of Africa, and that is a popular winter destination for people who want to stay in Europe. I suppose you could combine the Canaries with mainland Spain in a trip of your length.
