Hi, we are arriving in Athens june 6th and then flying to Santorini later that afternoon, not arriving on Santorini until 7:30 pm.
We had originally booked 3 nights then were hoping to go to another island for 4 nights. We will then go to Naxos where we have a hotel reservation for 6 nights and will fly back to Athens where we will stay for 1.5 day.
However, because of ferry schedules I'm thinking we will have a problem going to either Milos or Koufonissia for our second island.
As is, we would leave Santorini June 9th and it doesn't look like that will work with what I've seen regarding the schedules.
So, I'm thinking of adding a night on to Santorini. This would give us an extra day to do the boat excursion around the island.
Then add 3 nights to Naxos and do at least a day trip to Delos and maybe one to Mykonos.
Would anyone like to provide any insight into this itinerary based on experience or knowledge of the ferries? Thanks.

Your trip sounds very relaxing with multiple nights in several islands. So why get tense about ferry schedules? Go where the wind blows. (or doesn't in this case)
We did almost the same thing a couple of years ago, starting in Naxos. Spent 10 days there, did a day trip to Mykonos and Delos, then went to Santorini for a few days. It was a great trip and I would change a thing!
thanks for your responses. The more I think about it the more this sounds like the way to go but I have to convince my traveling partner, who believes more is more.
