Greece Itinerary & Advice

Jump to last reply

My husband and I have planned a trip to Greece leaving Aug 26th, and we are still having trouble planning our itinerary. Can anyone help with the following questions?:

1. We have 5 nights booked for Crete - initially we planned to stay in Chania, but now are unsure if we should fly in to the other area of the island and spend 2 nights there and only 3 nights in Chania?

2. Mykonos or iOs? - initially we had planned to stay in Mykonos for the week end but now are reconsidering and can't decide if iOs might be a better option? I read online that iOs can be more like a college party vs Mykonos. Any help on this is greatly appreciated!!

3. Athens - we are considering skipping Athens and spending 1-2 nights in Rome instead (we are flying in/out of Rome). Any pro's/con's to either??

Any help/suggestions on these topics or others for Greece are greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
