Greece-athens-Santorini-Rhodes-Athens
I am going from Athens May 15 2014 to Santorini and from Santorini to Rhodes on May 18- From Rhodes on May 25 I am either going back to Athens or to the peloponnese with the peloponnese a preference. I leave Athens June 2 2014 to return to the states-Anyone know the best route to take? Ferry or air?I have reservations on May 17 on Santorini(at a lux place) but the other days will be spent last minute budget-I have reservations on Rhodes. I can be a little flexible since Rhodes was booked with RCI and is a set price for the week. I dont have to stay on Rhodes the entire time- I am traveling with 2 daughters- Thanks you in advance for suggestions!

There's a 3am and a 5pm ferry departure from Rhodes back to the mainland on May 25. You'll arrive at 9:45am or 8:05am the next day. Flying from Rhodes takes less than an hour and as I write this I'm seeing some very cheap fares for Sunday, May 25.
Regardless of whether or not you go to the Peloponnese you still have to return to Athens first, either to the ferry port of Piraeus or to the Athens Airport.

Patmos in NOT a day trip from Rhodos. But there are direct ferries from Patmos to Piraeus at some dates.
