Spend as much time as you can in the islands..........The people, the friendly behaviour AND ..... the food is just awesommmmmmeeeee..........
Santorini...........spend at least 4 - 5 days if you wanna get a feel of the REAL place......its amazing...........i would recommend tht u get ther whn the "tourists' are not in the way.....April is a jolly good time! Santorini is so picturesque......w/o the large number of cruise ships.......... I wud highly recommend u stay at the nectarios villas......amazing people if you are on a budget accomodation but want the best.............very luvly homely and friendly...........

Santorini is an absolute paradise...................... spend 2 days in Thira and 2 days in Oia....the buses are best from Thiros if uf u decide to stay here......
make sure u take a Donkey ride( some xperience(!!) from the port of Thira to the town up) take the cable car down..........buy all your gifts from the port of thira....as u get a pretty good price compared to other parts of greece..........and yes...............please do take the trip around the volcacnic lake....its amazing! and climb up to the volacano when u do the lake trip..............its abs' amazing...........I just LOVED santorini.............the red beach is a MUST.................it's so luvly.....................and just relax in Santorini a it is the BEST GREECE has to offer.............

I do not get the point of this post to be honest...
posted the place where we stayed. Found it very reasonable. Friendly hosts............thought people may wanna check this place out if you don't wanna spend too much!
So should each person who travel somewhere post where he stayed in? What would the forum become then? An ads place? And how familiar are you of Greece to judge that Santorini is the best that Greece has to offer? Best on what aspect? I think you post is margin on spam. If you are genuine user, I am glad you have a nice trip and you are enthusiastic about it, but if you are willing to write a trip report, maybe it is better to describe what you've been up to and let people decide for them selves rather than post "this is a must" or "You have to do this or that" without providing much info. Different people have different interests, tastes, likes and dislikes, so post the facts let them decide for their selves!
