I just took the Golden Circle tour with F-Stop Tours (www.f-stoptours.com) last week.
Michael Kissane is a brilliant tour guide. A “people” person. He has the best private tour in Reykjavik. Very economical. He picks you up from your hotel in his Mitusbishi SUV, he ask’s if there’s any place special you’d like to see (I told him, and he accommodated), then he takes around the Golden Circle…talking, giving loads of insight into what you’re seeing and where you’re goingHe gives you more than enough time in each stop…we were never rushed. He’ll also assist in taking your snaps (handy for couples).
We were blessed to have him from 9am to 5:30pm.
Michael has a lot of pride for this country, and the way he takes you around, really shows the beauty of Iceland.
I highly recommend him.
