Granada to Madrid

Granada to Madrid
What is the best way to travel from Granada to Madrid in mid September. Too early to see train schedule but when I put in June dates just to see schedule it says unavailable Any insight? Would it be better to fly?

I just put it a random June 23 date and Renfe shows the schedule. The schedule says BUS-AVE, and the trip takes around 4 hours, train to the Antequera AVE station and bus to Granada, since the high speed line from Antequera to Granada is still not completed.
The schedule for mid September won't be up for several months. In theory, the schedule should be posted 2 months ahead, but in practice, with Renfe, that isn't always the case.
The high speed AVE Granada-Madrid is still a work in progress, and there is no completion date set. We were told by the Andalucia Tourist Board director that it would be up and running last October, but there have been delays and more delays with no end in sight.
We took the train Madrid-Granada in February, and the current system is that passengers take the high speed AVE from Madrid to Antequera. In Antequera they transfer to a bus chartered by Renfe to travel to Granada. Signs are posted in the Antequera AVE station to lead passengers to the awaiting bus. It's a simple transfer.
That's why the schedule on Renfe indicates BUS-AVE, turista con enlace.
Currently there is no train service out of Granda rail at all. All train travel is via bus to Antequera, then high speed rail on to Seville or Cordoba or Madrid.

Forgot to mention the other Granada-Madrid options:
Iberia/Air Nostrum offers several non-stop flights per day. The one way fare is expensive, so it's much cheaper to book a round trip and just ignore the return.
Alsa bus lines has added their Premium service on the Granada-Madrid run, that serves as an alternative to the bus-AVE current service by Renfe.
This Premium service is non-stop, with 2-1 leather seat configuration, just 38 seats, individual entertainment screens with a selection of 30 movies, a hostess on board serving food/drink, complimentary coffee, water, soft drinks, a special lounge waiting area in the bus station and on board Wi-Fi.
There's a Premium bus departure at 9 am and another at 3 pm. The ride is schedule to take 4 1/2 hours. It can be booked a month in advance. Current fare is 43 euros.
