I would like to arrange some great private custom tours for my family when we are in italy this summer. We have three kids ages 16, 12 and 9 so keeping them interested is key. I want to find a company that can arrange everything for us..any suggestions?

is this the sort of thing you're looking for:

I believe that they operate in Venice too.
I've not used them, but they get consistently good reports here.
I was trying to arrange a tour with Gerard of Real Rome tours but the dates didn't work out for my trip. They get great reviews and from my e-mail exchanges with him, he seemed terrific.

Besides Context and Real Rome, you may also wnt to check out Walks of Italy. They get good reviews and have tours in Venice and Rome.
lso for Venice, I have heard Venice with a Guide is good.
Have fun!
