Good Restaurant in Athens for Special Occasion
We will be in Athens on a Saturday Night in Early October and are looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. We are looking for any suggestions. Will we need reservations? Thanks in advance for any responses.

1/ The GB rooftop is a classic value.
2/ An other option would be "MR PIL POUL'S House' with an amazing Acropolis view from Thysion and delicious food.
3/If cuisine is the absolute must then the 3 star michelin Spondi is your place.
A booking is a must.

My husband and I had dinner on the rooftop of the Grande Bretange two weeks ago; we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. In front of us was a superb view of the lit-up Acropolis; behind us the full moon was rising over the mountains. The wait staff were superb. We both thought we couldn't have had a more spectacular setting. You do need reservations- [email protected]
If you e-mail her a week or so before you should be fine. It was expensive, I admit- dinner for two, with wine and appetizer and dessert cost about 140 euros, without tip. We thought it was well worth it.

Hi,
We had a delicious dinner at the Olive Garden Restaurant (not like the one in the states) at the Talapia Hotel. It was on the roof and had a spectacular view of the lit up Acropolis complete with a full moon. It was not as pricey as the Grande Bretagne but the food and service were great. If you don't care what you spend, go for the Grande Bretagne!
