Glad to hear that. I've got a lot of unused FF miles that I planned on.
O-KAY--that is great news! Sounds as though my trip to France in May is a go!
And Sher's to Portugal in April! And many others out there, I'm sure!
Hooray! Now would make a great time for a huge transatlantic fare sale from them. I'll buy!
I'm surprised that this didn't make the main evening TV news.
Thanks, Betsy
Best wishes,
Rex
Thanks Betsy! That is great news. We were beginning to worry about our trip to Florence in March. Whew.

I did hear about that on the business news this evening on the radio. I believe they said that since they got a loan or something, they would probably be flying until June, at least -- after that, they still weren't placing any bets.
I was one of the folks that thought my captive city, Pittsburgh, might be better off without USAirways, way back when. But the closer we have come to their demise, the more I hope they make it. It would be a miracle, but things in Pittsburgh are stacked in such a way, that with no USAirways, we might never get to fly anywhere!
Seriously, I would like to see them get back on their feet. I have friends and acquaintances that work for them, and I have reservations for Italy on Feb. 24.
