Gluten-free in Ireland

I'm taking a 9 day trip to Ireland starting on 10/26/13. I have two questions:

1. We'll be free for dinner in Dublin, Galway and Killarney. Can anyone recommend restaurants that serve gluten-free food, preferably with GF bread and dessert?
2. What can we expect weather-wise at that time of year in Ireland?
