Glendalough Cushendall, Antrim doable in a day?

Jump to last reply

My wife and I are going to Ireland in August of 2014. After spending a couple of days in Dublin, we're going to do an overnight stay in Laragh (Glendalough) before heading to the Antrim coast.

Is that drive doable in an afternoon? Google says that the drive is 3.5 hours, so I'm thinking it might be. We also have the option of staying overnight in Carlingford or Rostrevor on the way to Antrim.

My question: Is the drive from Glendalough to Antrim doable in one afternoon without becoming completely exhausted?
