OK FainaAgain you are pulling my leg! I decided to some research. I found that it is "one of Switzerland's most famous train excursions" and travels between Zermatt and St. Moritz. Gosh, I learned something today and I think I will add it to my extensive list of places to go and things to do before I die.

Babs, if seriously, I was on this Express only 2 weeks ago (ahhh, time flies!) and it's worth to be on anybody's "must to travel" list.

Like IntrepidI says regular trains will continue to run, with perhaps a bus service around any disrupted rail portion but with the several changes require it's near impossible to go between Chur/St Moritz and Zermatt in one day. there was talk last year of Brig-andermatt trains being removed and replaced by buses but i can't believe this will really happen.
