Hi PalQ

I am sorry to hear that. Where is the Glacier Express?

OK FainaAgain you are pulling my leg! I decided to some research. I found that it is "one of Switzerland's most famous train excursions" and travels between Zermatt and St. Moritz. Gosh, I learned something today and I think I will add it to my extensive list of places to go and things to do before I die. Thanks!

Yes, regular trains will still run the entire route but, as always, it will involve several changes.

Babs, if seriously, I was on this Express only 2 weeks ago (ahhh, time flies!) and it's worth to be on anybody's "must to travel" list.

(my computer was not working yesterday, just checking it today)

Like IntrepidI says regular trains will continue to run, with perhaps a bus service around any disrupted rail portion but with the several changes require it's near impossible to go between Chur/St Moritz and Zermatt in one day. there was talk last year of Brig-andermatt trains being removed and replaced by buses but i can't believe this will really happen.
