Giverny Inn?
A few years ago, I clipped from the newspaper an article about a little inn in Giverny called Musardiere. Does anyone know if it's still there?

I would appreciate any information anyone may have. A web search proved fruitless.

Thanks!

Don't have any info on the inn, but I can tell you that I was in Giverny on Sunday and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! The gardens were magnificent and so was his little house -- done up in interesting color schemes w/ lots of Japanese framed prints all over. The thing I regret is that I was not able to go to the American Museaum in town which has lots of his art. Not enough time. Hope you enjoy yourself!

I dont know about that place but I made reservations at a place that looks great on the web---a Karen Brown recommendation. 700FFw/breakfast. It a 5 rm b&b. Spoke to owners--very helpful & sweet. Less than 1 km from Giverney.
Called La Reserve. Go to Browns web site for more info. CAROL, did you eat there?

Emily: If you are looking for a restaurant idea in Giverny area, we ate lunch (and I am sure they serve dinner) at a wonderful spot, Le Moulin de Fourges. Fourges is marked on the map and lies about 15 minutes beyond Giverny on one of the main roads out of town. We ate at tables outside next to a fairly new mill (only about 150 yrs old), with the sound of rushing water, and the sight of white linens and dishes so well presented that my daughter took pictures of each of them!

For your caution & info, in Giverny I asked twice for directions for the road to "le restaurant Le Moulin" and each person stressed "Fourges?" before answering. On the way out of town, we saw Le Moulin in Giverny, evidently why they stressed the other town.

We arrived about 11:45 for lunch, not realizing that we should have called for reservations. We were seated but would be best to call. I have read since our return that Hilary Clinton dined there when she was in France. Politics aside, an example of classic good taste!
