Gifts for German friends

Jump to last reply

Good friends have invited me to a wedding anniversary in Germany and I won't be able to attend . I would like to thank them for the invitation and to send them a gift. What would be appropriate. Flowers? A box of wine (I live in France) ? Something more personal? I attended their wedding and the christening of their child. Both times they took care of the guests' hotel bill.
Thank you for your help.
