We are spending one night at the Hotel Majestic on July 10th and have a flight to Paris on July 11th. We were given the option of paying 80 Euros to keep our rental car for that last night (we are driving around for 6 days prior). I would assume there is a more reasonably price method for two people to get from the city to the airport. Any suggestions?

For 7 Euros each you can take the airport bus (navette)

Glad you asked this question! I was wondering the same... hope you don't mind if I piggy-back on your post!
Carlux (/anyone), any idea of how much a taxi is from the airport? We will be staying in Hotel Seeko'o which is slightly out of the centre and I don't think it's close to any of the navette stops, with a couple of bags a taxi might be handier unless it's prohibitively expensive?
thanks
Jane
We were in Bordeaux last year and tried to get on the airport bus. For whatever reason it never showed up at our stop.
So we just took the regular city bus for 1-2 euro (don't remember exactly). It took about 40 minutes and it wasn't too bad. I will try to remember the bus number and get back to you - if not, you can just ask a local or TI and they will tell you.
OK - I guess it was Bus 1 to the airport if you need the city bus.
I think you'll be fine on the JetBus - I think we were left behind because it was the day after the airport opened after the volcano mess. Guess their schedules were messed up.

Thanks! Glad to see that we do not need to spend the extra 80 Euros.
