Getting from Ravello to Venice

Hi I am travelling to Ravello in May, and I would like to visit Venice for a day and return to Ravello to return home what is the best way to travel there and how long does it take.

That's not possible. Google says about 12+ hours by public transport, one way, and 8+ hours driving, one way.

You talking about Ravello on the Amalfi Coast? Or Revenna near Venice?

Amalfi Ravello would take about 5-6 hours each way - go to Salerno by bus or boat or swim - catch train to Florence or Bologna -change to train to Venice! For more on trains -schedules and fares check www.trenitalia.com.

Not practical IMO from Amalfi to day trip to Venice!

There's so much to do on and around the Amalfi coast. Tell us what you've already planned and maybe we can make suggestions for that day.

Start a new thread and tell us when you will be traveling, the interests and ages of the travelers and if you have a car.

If you really want to do it, it can be done.

There is an Easyjet flight from Naples to Venice leaving at 06.50 arriving at 08.05 wth a late return leaving at 21.20 arriving back at Naples at 22.30.

It wouldn't be easy to get to Naples airport from Ravello by 5:30, or back to Ravello at 22:30. I suppose you could take a taxi, but the drive would be over an hour.
