Getting From Italy to London

Jump to last reply

What's the best way to get from Italy (specifically Rome or Florence) to London?

I've been looking at booking multi-city flights US - Rome (or Florence), Rome (or Florence) to London, London - US. Also researched flights from just US - Rome (or FLR) and then London - US.

I looked in to taking the train, but with a time estimate of 24 hours I would rather fly.

Has anyone made the journey from Italy to London? What was the easiest, cheapest way to get there?

*BTW, I'll be traveling the first week of January.
