Hubby and I will be in Rome for a week at the beginning of September. We have a pretty full itinerary planned but thought it would be fun to try and catch up with some other travelers that will be there at that time too, have a drink and compare notes. We are staying in the Trastevere area. Wednesday September 7 we have our cooking class with Chef Andrea! We may also try to find the Abbey Theatre Irish Pub because they list that as a “Packer” bar in some blogs and we would like to see if indeed they are paying homage to our World Champion Green Bay Packers. We will be in Rome from the 5th leaving the 10th for Assisi..

Also plan to spend one day and overnight at my friend condo,she lives in Ostia Centro .

Ostia is the beach near Rome but is is now a part of the city of Rome.

Friday the 9th we taking a day trip to Orvieto..

I will check with my daughter and see if we have a little time available.

The Abbey Irish Pub is located in Via del Governo..Never been there.

BTW, we are Dallas Cowboy fans..

I'm not getting there until the 10th or 11th. Are you visiting any other cities besides Rome?

Kybourbon, after Rome we will be visiting Assisi for 2days , Venice 2,Dubrovnik 6 and Paris 3.
Where are you going this time?

I'm ending in Rome. Flying out the 14th. I don't have set plans yet and no ressies (yikes!). I only have my plane tickets. I'm waiting to hear from a couple of places about availability and will plan my itinerary then.

Where are you staying in Assisi? Will you have a car?

Wife and I arrive Rome 4 September for three days before visiting the Amalfi Coast for a week and returning to Rome for another three days.
