Germany - Driving Vs Train from - to Dusseldorf/Amsterdam

We will be in Dusseldorf tomorrow. I need help what to do, driving or Train from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam. We will stay three nights over there.
If train is the best option, could give me help buying train tickets.
Also, recommendations what to do; we have planned; Anne Frank House, Heineken Museum, Bike Tour. Something else?
What to EAT??? we have none :( Please, traditional German Food; (Sandwich and Beer), we have no idea.
