This is a travel site but you may be able to help. DH/I are moving to Munich for a nine month stay at the end of september. Looking for blogs from expats living there. So far I can find the following good ones that are informative to read:
http://blog.blondelibrarian.net/
http://temporaryhausfrau.blogspot.com/
http://onlyingermany.blogspot.com/
http://clearblogs.com/lifeingerm
If you know other good ones, post it. Thanks in advance.

There is a hausfrau on this board. She might be the author of the second link and may advice more.
Hi lisamartin,
Here's a message board:

They say blogs are coming soon.

Wow, thanks! Expatica looks wonderful.
Lisa, that's my blog, but I didn't start it until I'd been here for over a year and a half, so it is sort of like starting a book in the middle!
I have some earlier excerpts about my Germany experiences posted on Expatica's website in the "Expat Blog" section - I am the Hausfrau there as well. Expatica has a bunch of links to other expat blogs too.

I have really enjoyed being part of an international women's club in Stuttgart. You might be able to find an equivalent type of group in Munich. It's a great way to meet other expats and Germans, and can be a wonderful support network.
If you don't speak German yet, my best advice to you is to start lessons now and take lessons while you are there. Nothing enhances the experience as much as being able to communicate!
Munich is an awesome city and I am sure you will have a great time there!
