We are leaving on a Costa Cruise (second time) departing from Savona on March 13th. We are staying at a pre-cruise hotel in Genoa near the train station. We thought we would hop on the train to get to Savona - then take a taxi to the port. However, someone just told us that they think there is a public bus that leaves from the train station and goes to Savona. Do any of you great travelers know anything about this? Would love to hear from you. Thanks

Hi Arielle - I'd go by train if I were you.
Journey time is less than 1hr from either of Genova's main stations, P.Principe or Brignole.
Fare: € 3
For timetables see:

Hope this helps ...
Steve
What hotel are you staying at in Genova? We're taking a Costa cruise out of Savona in April and haven't had much luck finding hotels that respond to emails.
Thanx...
Hi WJ - I suggest you start a new post re 'Searching hotels in Genoa' - stating your budget range.
This post is a year old - so it's unlikely you'll get a response from the OP.

Thanks Steve!
