Geneva restaurant recommendation for perch filet
I'm told a classic dish one must try in Geneva is a simple perch fish filet. Does anyone have a recommendation for a very casual and inexpensive restaurant where I may find this?
I have time for just 1 dinner in Geneva and will be staying close to the train station.

This dish seems to be ubiquitous in Switz. We have had it in several places from basic to more upscale - Lucerne, Interlaken and Gruyere. I would just check the menus in the windows as you walk around.

The place you want is Restaurant Manora. That was my go-to eatery when I lived in Geneva. It is on rue de Cornavin, a short walk south of the station. The restaurant is a collection of small "islands" where the food is prepared in front of you. Excellent food, reasonably priced, and very casual.
