Gatwick to Wimbledon Park /Easybus musical instrument info ?

Jump to last reply

My son and I will be arriving late June at Gatwick, heading to Wimbledon Park tube station for our lodging during the championships.
Last year I took Easy bus to Earls Court, and it was easy and inexpensive. While looking at the fine print for Easy bus, it says you can't bring any musical instruments including a guitar, which my son needs to have for a recording project following in July. I e mailed them to ask about just purchasing a seat for the guitar, no response as of yet. Anyone ever had any experience with musical instruments and Easybus ?
What would be the next best choice ?
We have taken the Gatwick Express before to Victoria, but not the other train. Is it best to pay for tickets with Gatwick Exress ahead of time to save money, but how flexible are they both with times since you never know with airline what delays you may encounter...
I appreciate your thoughts on any or all of this...
