Gatwick Connect

Jump to last reply

I read about this online and it appears it may be a solution for us when we are connecting from Virgin to EasyJet in December.

From the write up, it appears that they transfer bags for you. We arrive at 8:30am and are looking to fly out on EasyJet at 16:20. It would be an easier decision if we knew we could have them take care of our luggage in between but I know that EasyJet will not allow check in that far before a flight.

Any insight into how this actually works is appreciated.

We are deciding between this long layover or overnighting at Sofitel Gatwick and spending the day and evening in London, before taking an early flight the next day. Our preference is to get all of the traveling out of the way in one day but it may not be the best option in this case.

I know there is a luggage storage option that will allow us to check bags for a few hours but we would still have to carry fairly heavy backpacks (professional camera equipment) around with us because we do not store that.
