Well, I can speak to two of them for you. The one in Como provides a great view of the city and the lake. The other plus is once at the top you can stroll around a wonderful neighborhood, grab a nice snack at the small bakery close to the station, and just enjoy the area.
Lugano's does not provide as good a view but it is adequate. One nice thing about the one at Lugano (if you are driving) is that you can drive to the station at the top of the hill, park your car in the public lot, and ride down to the main town and lake front.
Of these two I rate Como best. Haven't done the one at Locarno so can not comment on that one. By the way, if you have not been to this area before you are in for a real treat. Take your spouse/lover with you - this extremely romantic part of the world will do wonders for your love life!
