Funeral of Venice, Nov. 14, 2009

Local Venetians will hold a "funeral of Venice" on Nov. 14th. At the current rate of emigration, demographers predict there won't be a single full-time Venetian left by 2030. Even as tourist numbers increase, revenue from tourism has declined drastically.
