From southern France into Spain

Jump to last reply

Hi there, can anyone help... we are in Dordogne, France, at the moment (near Sarlat) and need to be in SARRIA, Spain, on May 4 for the Camino to Santiago walk. Our query is: Can anyone suggest the best way to get to Sarria? The May Day (May 1 Labour or Worker Day holiday is on Tuesday), so we must return our hire car to Perigueux this Monday, April 30, or Wednesday, May 2. We can return the car and then take the train to Bordeaux... but then what? Maybe go to Bilbayo, but then how to get to Sarria? Any help greatly appreciated by two "middle years" Aussies planning an early stake out of the ticket office at the Fount de Guame in case we are lucky enough to score the "on the day" tickets we weren't able to secure over the Net before we left home. Cheers Elvtee.
