From Perugia Airport to Spoleto

Jump to last reply

We are travelling on Easter Monday from Perugia Airport to Spoleto by train. We will get a taxi from Perugia Airport to Perugia station (the next bus is nearly 4 hours after our flight lands) then get the train to Spoleto. We can get a train but have to change at Foligno so a 2 hour journey. Or we could stay in Perugia for the afternoon and get a later direct train which only takes 1 hour. Can any helpful person please tell me:
(1) Is it worth visiting Perugia on Easter Monday or will everything be closed?
(2) Is there an alternative way to get from Perugia Airport to Spoleto (eg bus)
I have searched the internet but cannot find any info on buses. Many thanks :)
