French Riviera & Provence itinerary

Hi, My husband and I in our early 30s will be visiting French Riviera & Provence next week! Based in Nice for 4 nights and Luberon for 5night.

Some of the larges towns/cities like Aix, Avignon we are planning on just touchin
Please do make suggestions to the itinerary.

Fly in from New York to Nice arrive at 2pm on June 27th.
June 27th Day 1: Nice (only half day)

28th Day 2: Nice
Nice &Cannes

29th Day 3: Nice
Antibe
Day trip to St. Paul –take a stroll along the ramparts, visit the Collegial church, the Pénitents Blancs chapel decorated by Folon > gorgeous mosaic, stained glass windows etc... A lot to see apart from art galleries & shops


30th Day 4: Nice
Day trip to Monaco and Eze village (check bus schedule eith Saturday or Monday), Reach by 9:30am.
Bus 112 from Nice to Eze. have a drink at the Chateau d'Eza which is right at the top above the Chateau de le Chevre D'Or
Hike from top of Eze village to the sea below and then Monaco - 1 hour climb down
Bus 100 Eze to Monaco (monte carlo)
Walk around the casino and go to Rue Princess Caroline lunch area.
Take train back to Nice from Monaco – 20mins
Get back to Nice for dinner and clubbing!

1st Day 5: Nice to Provence, Luberon (rent a car 2.5 drive) – spend
Can leave for Cassis (2hrs) and then (40mins) in Aix and then drive to Luberon (1hr)

2nd Day 6: Provence, Luberon, l'Isle sur la Sorgue
NimesAntique Amphitheatre.
"Le Pont du Gard"Famous Aqueduct.(bridge)
Uzes village (very famous)
OrangeAntique theatre of Orange (can skip)
Châteauneuf du Pape Wine tasting on the way back

3rd Day 7: Provence, Luberon, l'Isle sur la Sorgue
St. Remy – 1hr drive
ArlesOn the trail of Van Gogh (can skip Arles)
Les Baux de ProvenceAmazing sceneries of Middle Age Village.
Saint Rémy de Provence:Visit of the clinic where Van Gogh stayed for one year, he painted his most famous masterpieces (1 hr to see)

4th Day 8: Provence, Luberon, l'Isle sur la Sorgue
The most beautiful villages of Luberon area.Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Ménerbes
Roussillon, Gordes (might need a full day),

5th Day 9: Provence, Luberon, l'Isle sur la Sorgue
Open day

6th Day 10: Provence to Beaune,Burgundy (4 hr drive)
l'Isle sur la Sorgue to Cote du Rhone (2.40mins) then Cote du Rhone to Beaune (1.40mins)
