We have tickets for a couple of days at the French Open the week of May 29th. I would appreciate any suggestions on attire.

When I went a couple of years ago, I wore a short sleeve sweater and khakis. I don't remember feeling out of the norm, so this must have been "appropriate." Just don't forget the sunscreen - I did end up with some sunburn on my arms. I think I remember quite a few in khaki shorts and nice shirts as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Eileen, aren t you lucky? <BR>Wear just some sport outfit, like kakis a polo, or blouse and a sweater.or even a light blazer. <BR>Being in Paris an umbrella seems to be de riguer, also some hat and dark glasses and you ll be all set. <BR>

Hi Eileen, <BR> <BR>How were you able to get French Open tickets ? My husband and I have been trying through some friends in Paris but they had a difficult time obtaining tickets this year. Any suggestion besides scalpers ? Thanks.

We got them (actually a friend we are traveling with got them) through a local travel agent--last fall, around November I think, so getting them early is probably the key?

Hello again, <BR> <BR>I doubt if anyone is still checking on this old posting, but I did find out that we got our tickets to the French Open through the tennis association in the US. USTA. Maybe for next year? <BR> <BR>Eileen
